DATA FILES

Maintain and update data files for Texas, Coastal Bend Region, and each of the 12 counties in the region. Indicators cover demographics, crime and delinquency, child abuse, economics, employment, workforce, health, education, transportation, housing and other issues. Files are available in paper, CD rom, and electronic formats.

GRANT WRITING

Assistance with all phases of the grant writing process directly or by referral to other University offices or community partners. Particular capacity to assist with needs statements and evaluation parts of grant applications.

Facilitation of strategic, program, and action planning processes.

TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS

Client tailored training programs, workshops, or presentations concerning grant writing, evaluation, planning, data collection and analysis, program management, and supervision.

RESEARCH ASSISTANCE

Assistance is provided to Principal Investigators for grant management, supervision of staff, budgeting, data management, report publication, and public presentations.

EDUCATION

Presentation of research findings is available to community groups or University classes. Placement and supervision of students in applied research experience, service learning, and/or civic engagement projects are available. Data sets are available for student projects. Presentations concerning research design and management are available for classes using current projects as examples.
